If we haven’t already met and you are finding me here for the first time, all the handbags on here have been designed, screen printed and stitched together by me! You can find out more about this on the About Page.
I now also run Gallery 10 at Alby Crafts and Gardens in North Norfolk (signposted off the A140 between Aylsham and Cromer).
Alby Crafts was established over 40 years ago and is a brilliant complex of studios, workshops and giftshops spread across two courtyards around the fantastic Artisan café run by Tim and his team. The whole place is set in over 4 acres of beautiful and carefully maintained gardens which are looked after by the same family who established the centre. My creative neighbours here include sculptors, dressmakers, cabinet makers, willow weavers and potters!
Gallery 10 started off as my bag making studio, and as I had more space than I needed, I started to sell the work of a few other excellent makers, and this turned out to be a really great project to run! So in July 2020 I took an opportunity to move into a larger space at the same site. The new Gallery 10 is now absolutely full of locally handcrafted and beautiful items by over 30 local talented makers, and growing…!
I had planned to launch a new website where you could buy my handbags on-line, but due to the increased demands of running the gallery, this site is for now more of a catalogue of my work. I’m still making bags though, so please do get in touch if you’re interested in one. I can always send you photographs of all the bags I have in the gallery, and I’m still very happy to create bags in colours of your choosing.
I’ll be launching Facebook and Instagram pages for Gallery 10 shortly and will add the links on here, so please do follow us to see all the fabulous work by Norfolk makers that we have on display.
Look forward to welcoming you!
